It is the worlds largest wooden building. When it was rebuilt the 2nd time it was only rebuilt to two-thirds the origional size because of lack of funding.

The gold things on the top are dolphin tails- to prevent fire, which is how the last 2 were destroyed. Americans bring water, Japanese draw it.
